At Cleveland, Pizza shop on Logan Rd, Holland Park, allegedly robbed by man with gun, while bus driver allegedly robbed by man with knife

A MAN armed with a gun has robbed a pizza shop and a bystander on Brisbane’s southside.

The man walked into the store on Logan Rd in Holland Park just after 10pm on Thursday and allegedly threatened the 23-year-old male employee with the gun.

The man allegedly stole an unknown amount of cash from the till before leaving.

He also threatened a 25-year-old man standing outside the store before allegedly stealing his backpack and running away.

He was last seen running down Nursery Rd.

No one was physically injured in the incident.

The man is thought to be in his 20s and is Caucasian with a proportionate build.  He was wearing dark pants, a dark jumper and hid his face with a cloth.

Elsewhere, a bus driver has been threatened with a knife and robbed on Brisbane’s southeast.

About 7.15pm Thursday, with three passengers on board, the bus driver picked up a man on Passage St in Cleveland.

The man allegedly threatened the driver with a knife before grabbing the driver’s cash tin and running away.

The man is thought to be in his 20s and is Caucasian with a slim build.  He was wearing black pants, a black jumper and a black balaclava.
